Microwave Engineering
Trebax possesses in-depth knowledge of electronic design for high frequencies. Our experience comes from designing circuits and systems starting from 70/80 GHz mm-wave applications, down through the entire microwave and RF frequencies to around 100 MHz.
As signal wavelength approaches or becomes less than component and laminate dimensions, electronic design becomes an issue not only about correct schematic connection: Distributed elements design implies that transmission lines, wiring, components, PCB buildup and mechanic housing all affect the perfomance and become equally important parts of the design. To master this is a core competence of Trebax.
We design electronics modules with both coaxial and waveguide signal interfaces.
We design all types of active and passive signal functions: Amplifiers, mixers, filters, frequency synthesizers, attenuators – everything that is necessary to make up a microwave system.
We develop build methods for the microwave frequency range, enabling high performance, low cost and adaption to standard SMT production.
We integrate systems consisting of microwave electronics, baseband electronics, signal processing, embedded controllers and power supply into a fully working unit – many times with tough environmental requirements such as outdoor operation, wide temperature range, shock- and vibration resistance as well as long life.
